Why Liquid Glucosamine Is The Best Glucosamine

Are liquid glucosamine supplements more beneficial than glucosamine supplements in a pill or capsule form? Studies say that liquid glucosamine is more beneficial because the body absorbs it more quickly. Often glucosamine in pill or capsule form will not be absorbed by the body at all if it is passed too quickly.

The best way to take glucosamine supplements, according to some health professionals, would be to inject it directly to the site of the problem, but injectable glucosamine is not yet available by commercial means and probably will not be as long as the supplement has not been studied and approved by the FDA and made available by prescription.

In the absence of injectable glucosamine, liquid glucosamine is the best way to get results from the supplement. Liquid glucosamine can be purchased in bottles, already in a liquid form, or it can be purchased as a water soluble powder to be mixed with water or juice. Either one of these forms is considered safe and effective, as well as quickly absorbant.

Liquid glucosamine has been studied for more than 20 years and has been proven to offer relief for the pain and swelling of osteoarthritis, as well as other joint problems that might be caused by athletic injuries or other types of injuries. It has also been found to be able to rebuild the cartilage and essentially reverse the effects of osteoarthritis over time. The reason for this is that the body, as it ages, can no longer produce enough of the glucosamine it needs to build cartilage and tissue. Supplementing with liquid glucosamine simply replaces what the body used to make on its own to keep the joints healthy.

Many people don't start using liquid glucosamine until they begin to have problems with osteoarthritis or other joint pain and problems. This is fine, but the longer somebody waits, the more damage is already done and it will take longer for the glucosamine to repair the cartilage.

Some people are deciding to be proactive and begin to take liquid glucosamine supplements as a preventative for osteoarthritis as they grow older. It would make sense that as the normal production of glucosamine in the body slows down it were to be replaced by the liquid glucosamine supplements, that osteoarthritis could be avoided altogether.

It should be mentioned that there are a lot of liquid glucosamine supplements on the market and they are not all the same. While the supplement is not expensive, you do get what you pay for in most cases. Be careful of supplements that seem overly inexpensive as they may not be of good quality, in which case they would not be as effective as a better quality liquid glucosamine supplement.
